David and Jeanie Rasmussen
David Rasmussen, a certified GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® instructor, has 30 years of golf teaching experience and was trained by Hank Haney, a former PGA Teacher of the year.
After his teacher training he taught on the PGA Tour working with over 20 different PGA Tour professionals as a PGA Tour Instructor. He has also worked with students on the European PGA Tour, Champions Tour, LPGA Tour, and Australasian Tour. His students have had great successes over the years, but David continued to search for a better way to train his golf students. His search led him to GYROTONIC® methodology, and over the last 12 years he has worked closely with Juliu Horvath, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS creator, to develop a comprehensive curriculum integrating GYROTONIC methodology and Golf.
David has been traveling around the world teaching these workshops for over 10 years. He and his wife Jeanie own a golf and GYROTONIC® studio in New Berlin, WI, where they teach and train all levels of golfers.
“For the past 30 years, I have had one goal – to help each of my students reach their full potential in the game of golf. But few golfers ever achieve a level of success equal to the amount of hard work they’ve put into their game. Often, their lack of success is the result of physical limitations preventing them from performing at a level required to excel. In my experience, conventional strength training, core conditioning, and other fitness disciplines did not result in students achieving their perfect golf swing. These traditional methods are one-dimensional and do not address the combination of abilities needed for the correct golf swing. The search to help my students achieve their goals finally led me to Juliu Horvath and GYROTONIC® methodology. GYROTONIC training gives golfers the best combination of strength, flexibility, and speed – all essential to developing the golf swing to its full potential. When GYROTONIC training is combined with my unique golf training system, clients of all ages have achieved unbelievable success! My research and experience have brought me to the realization that GYROTONIC methodology is the perfect compliment for golf.“
“Good golf begins and ends with a good swing, and a good swing is a physical act, first and foremost. If you can’t make the physical movements a good golf swing requires, you’ll never succeed.” – Dave Rasmussen
